Nurturing the nurturers
Liberal Judaism & Reform Judaism Teacher Training Day
Nurturing our students’ Judaism is the core of our work as educators, but sometimes we also need to be inspired and nurtured ourselves.
Come and join in a smorgasbord of sessions, opportunity to network with other educators, to learn together and get inspiration for the next year.
This year our teacher training will include sessions on how to sensitively teach about the Shoah (including the use of social media), as well as using music in the classroom and assembly, crafting and mental health, basic teaching skills, using games as a teaching tool, mindfulness as a teaching aid, classroom management and behaviour, safeguarding training, Hebrew, and lots more.
We will also be hosting an expanded shuk of resources from Jewish organisations, from Yad Vashem, the Jewish Book Service, and lots more!
Our educators will include Cantor Sarah Grabiner, Yoni Berrous from Yad Vashem, and experts from across the Jewish community.
Register for the event at the button on the right. Registrations close on Friday 20 December.
The event is free to attend for Liberal Judaism and Reform Judaism members however we ask for a voluntary donation of £10 to help cover the cost of running the event.
Those who are not members of Liberal Judaism or Reform Judaism are welcome to attend the event. We ask them to contribute £30 as their places are not subsidised by the movements.
