Phil Rosenberg, President of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, will join us on Tuesday (1 July) at 8pm for a Leadership Check-in that is open to all members of a Progressive Judaism community.

This is a chance for Phil to speak directly to Progressive Jews about the work of the Board, and specifically answer any questions and concerns people have around the recent suspension of five Deputies representing Progressive communities.

Phil will speak to attendees about how the Board approaches representing diversity of opinion and freedom of speech across the British Jewish community – especially on contentious issues, including Israel.

The one-hour Check-in will be hosted by Progressive Judaism Co-Leads Rabbi Josh Levy and Rabbi Charley Baginsky and members will be able to ask questions (although we likely won’t have time to get to everyone).
