Applications are now open for the next cohort of Liberal Judaism’s acclaimed Ba’alei Tefillah lay leadership programme.

The 15 month-long course is led by inspiring rabbis and lay leaders and covers everything you’ll need to know in order to take services in your community.

Ba’alei Tefillah includes modules on Shabbat and festival services, writing sermons and Divrei Torah, liturgy, reading Torah and music.

The next course launches in March 2020 and includes a mix of distance learning, group days and a residential weekend. The graduation ceremony will take place at the Liberal Judaism Day of Celebration in the summer of 2021.

People from all over the country, and communities big and small, take part – leading to opportunities to make new friendships and learn from the best practice of others.

To be part of the next cohort please email to register your interest before 13 December 2019.

The programme is generously supported by the NLPS Trust.
