We have made lots of changes for this year’s Liberal Judaism Biennial Weekend. For the first time ever it will be delivered entirely online and the whole event is FREE for both members and guests.
But thing that isn’t changing is the fantastic and in-depth programme that everyone has come to know and love.
Just click here to view the full schedule. It features inspiring speakers and topics from within and outside of our movement, promising a thought-provoking and engaging weekend for all.
With the theme of Liberal Judaism: Collaboratory – sessions will explore how we can provide an open space and creative process where partners work together.
Rabbi Charley Baginsky, Lucian Hudson, Ed Kessler, Jess Mindel and Rabbi Alexandra Wright will look at ‘The Collaboratory in Action’, while Rabbi Lea Mühlsteins ask ‘Does Collaboration Have To Mean Consensus?’
Other discussions will examine collaborating online, across continents and with other sections of our Jewish community.
We’ve even got the traditional Biennial entertainment as well – with LJY-Netzer movement worker Rosa Slater’s ‘Let’s Get Down to Quizness’ followed by ‘Collaborative Cocktails’ hosted by Dave Lynn, one of the UK’s most popular drag queens and a star of stage and screen.
With some fantastic keynote speakers and Shabbat services also planned, the Biennial At Home really does have something for everyone. Best of all you can dip in and watch specific talks and services, or catch them all. It’s totally up to you!
The Biennial At Home is being offered completely free to take account of the difficult times we are in. However if you are able to make a donation, it will enable us to keep all of our wonderful online resources and events such as this free.
