Matthew Jukes QPM, the Deputy Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, will join Rabbi Charley Rabbi Charley Baginsky and Rabbi Josh Levy tomorrow night (Thursday 9 October) for their monthly Open House.

This will be a chance for members of our Progressive communities to speak directly to one of Britain’s most senior police officers about security in the wake of growing antisemitism in the UK and last week’s terrorist attack on the Jewish community in Manchester.

The Deputy Commissioner will speak from 8-8.30pm. The second half of Open House, from 8.30-9pm, will then see Rabbis Josh and Charley discuss the attack, the second anniversary of 7 October, the pain and challenges we are all grappling with right now, and the solidarity that has been shown from outside of our community.

As we are expecting a large turnout, we are asking for questions to be sent in advance (although of course we will also try to find time to take additional questions on the night).
