Liberal Judaism supports National HIV Testing Week – the annual event which seeks to promote regular testing. It aims to reduce the numbers of undiagnosed people and those diagnosed late, as well as raise awareness and increase knowledge of HIV testing.

Liberal Judaism Board of National Officers member Owen Power said: “I am proud Liberal Judaism is an enthusiastic supporter of National HIV Testing Week. LJ Chair Ruth Seager is fulsome in her support for testing and regularly posts with her family on social media (photographed above).

“Much progress has been made in recent years to end transmission but new cases within minority communities are high which means the Jewish community is at risk hence the importance of everyone knowing their status and testing.”
