Liberal Judaism and Kingston Liberal Synagogue (KLS) are delighted to bring the popular KLS Book Dippers club to our whole membership.

Book Dippers is an online get-together for book lovers. You don’t have to read a particular book in advance – instead bringing one you wish to recommend to others.

The next takes place over Zoom on Thursday April 30 at 7.30pm. The link will be shared on the Liberal Judaism At Home Facebook group, which you can join at www.facebook.com/groups/LiberalJudaism.

Sandra Webber, who runs Book Dippers, said: “Everyone takes it in turns to talk about their chosen book, and read a short extract to give us a flavour, talking for about three minutes so that all get a turn.

“We also have a chat going so that people can enter the name and author of the book they are talking about, in order that those who are inspired can get their own copy to read.

“In previous sessions people have chosen a fantastic variety of fiction and nonfiction on a range of topics. We now can’t wait to welcome more people from the wider Liberal Judaism family to join us.”
