Volunteers wanted for LJ Today Editorial Board

10 May 2016

Liberal Judaism is seeking volunteers with a passion for the movement, and the written word, to join the LJ Today Editorial Board.

The Editorial Board oversees the content of LJ Today – Liberal Judaism’s award-winning free bimonthly magazine that is sent to all 10,000 members, as well the wider Jewish and British communities.

The role has two requirements. The first is to attend a meeting, either in person or via Skype, at the start of every other month in order to set the agenda for that month’s issue. The second is to read a proof of the issue, and inform the editor of any corrections or feedback, before it goes to print.

The ideal candidates would have a good knowledge of Liberal Judaism and its cycle of events, as well as some experience in writing, editing or proof-reading stories.

The current Editorial Board contains members of all ages, from all parts of the country and with varying levels of involvement in their community.
If you would like to join the Editorial Board, please email LJ Today editor Simon Rothstein.
