Additionally she is responsible for the fundraising and events portfolios. One of these partnerships is the relationship with the Progressive Alliance and she line manages the Israeli Desk for the Alliance, which is based here at Liberal Judaism.
After studying Theology, first at Cambridge and then King’s College London, Charley spent several years working in Israel which included a period at Leo Baeck, Haifa, where she also studied at Haifa University.
Charley worked for Kingston Liberal Synagogue for two years, before becoming their full-time rabbi after her ordination. After a very happy ten years there she joined South Bucks Jewish Community in May 2016.
