www.jcore.org.uk Jewish Council for Racial Equality. Click here for information about JCORE's newest resource. Julie Taylor has written a fantastic book that helps tackle racial equality issues with nursery age children. As with all JCORE resources, it is written from a Jewish perspective so is ideal for Jewish nurseries and schools. However it also has a wider appeal for non-Jewish settings.

Social Action projects that individual Liberal Judaism communities are supporting:

www.asylumaid.org.uk Providing legal assistance to the most vulnerable.

www.savethechildren.org.uk Save the Children’s ‘Befriending Unaccompanied Minors Project’ (BUMP) in Birmingham.

www.sendmyfriend.org Website of the Global Campaign for Education, campaigning to ensure that every child has access to education. Action during May/June. See the downloadable resources for the campaign My Friend Needs a Teacher, a creative activity suitable for children of all ages.
