Rabbi James Baaden
South London Liberal Synagogue
I grew up in the United States and Canada, and I have now lived in Britain for over 20 years and am a British citizen.
After careers in the UK in journalism and the public sector (Social Services), I studied for the Rabbinate at Leo Baeck College, and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
I was ordained by the College in 2000, and has been the minister of South London Liberal Synagogue ever since.
I have a strong commitment to interfaith relations in south London and is very active in the Lambeth Multi-Faith Action Group, for example in 2002-03 he served as joint chair of Lambeth's "Local Strategic Partnership". |
