Rabbi Sheila Shulman

Rabbi Sheila Shulman is originally from Brooklyn and has lived in Britain for more than 30 years. She gained semicha following a career in academia and publishing. Soon after, in 1990, she and a group of lesbian feminists began to work towards founding a synagogue. Sixteen years later, Beit Klal Yisrael is a warm, energetic and very individual community.
