Liberal Judaism’s Doroteinu Committee (Bridging the Generations)
today announced the winners of their hugely successful photo
competition.
Pat Zatz from Harrow and Wembley Progressive Synagogue won
the £100 first prize in the competition entitled ‘Bridging
the Generations’, which aimed to encourage photographers
to capture images of different generations working and playing
together. The second prize went to Rita Adler of the Liberal
Jewish Synagogue. Judging the competition was former professional
photographer, Rabbi Frank Dabba Smith, who is the Rabbi of Harrow
and Wembley Progressive Synagogue.
Rabbi Dabba Smith said: “I was delighted to see such
a large number of high quality entries in this year’s
competition, which made my job very difficult. This clearly
demonstrates the wealth of artistic talent within the Liberal
Jewish community and the topic has inspired some truly imaginative
photography. |
