LIBERAL JUDAISM SUPPORTS STAND AGAINST THE BNP

Liberal Judaism welcomes the statement from the West Yorkshire Ecumenical Council condemning the policies of the BNP and echoes its message for people to vote only for those who show ‘a spirit of inclusive welcome’ to all. Rabbis from the Liberal Judaism movement continue to encourage everyone to vote in the upcoming elections in order to prevent the BNP from gaining any more support. Rabbi Aaron Goldstein, Liberal Judaism’s Outreach Director says: “Recent political events in France serve to demonstrate that voter apathy plays into the hands of parties such as the BNP. Liberal Judaism calls for all people who believe in an equal society to vote in order to remove the scourge of racist and anti-semitic political representation from the UK.”
