Sleep out and help save a life

Have you signed up for the Liberal Judaism/World Jewish Relief Sleepout yet?

The fundraising drive is taking place at Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue (NPLS) on Saturday January 28 from 8pm.

All money raised at the event will go to WJR's Operation Winter Survival campaign, which helps families, older people and children in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, for who the bitterly cold winter is simply about the struggle to stay alive.

houseFor many people in those countries, home is a dilapidated old building badly in need of repair with a leaking roof and with no running water or plumbing (as pictured). They live like this every single day. You can help them by experiencing sleeping without a roof over your head for just one night.

Entry is free. Breakfast will be provided and you will be part of a group of WJR supporters, including Rabbi Aaron Goldstein, who will sleep in tents for the night in the garden and car park at NPLS.

Sleeping out for just one night really could save a life. Take action now. Show your support. Sign up by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
