Activities enjoyed by members of Liberal Jewish communities all over the UK feature in reports in the Jewish Chronicle this week. London synagogue initiatives attract the votes of politicians Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue hosted a tea and entertainment in the synagogue for members of the Northwood Live at Home scheme, the Pinner and Northwood Good Companions groups, the shul's Tuesday Club and people in local residential homes. NPLS senior minister Rabbi Aaron Goldstein said: "The interaction between our young people and the general public was illuminating. Those of other faiths were deeply moved to be invited to the synagogue for such an occasion." Read more Cleaning up their act in Scotland Two Hebrew Congregation members helped a group from the Liberal community to clear gorse in Holyrood Park under the supervision of the park rangers. Edinburgh Liberal chair Gillian Raab said: "It was a full day's work but there was a lot to show for it by the end. It was great to have families coming along and to have everyone working together."
