Mitzvah Day 2011 takes place on Sunday November 20th, with Liberal Jewish communities around the UK and Ireland taking part in a faith based day of social action. Our members will be joining thousands of others involved in hands on projects, designed to support charities and build stronger communities.

Prime Minister David Cameron said of the Jewish-led initiative: “I can’t think of a more worthwhile endeavour and I want to signal my admiration and thanks to all who take part.”

In the next issue of lj today, Liberal Judaism’s bimonthly magazine, we’ll be printing pictures showing how Liberal congregations did their bit.
