Whilst most activities empty out or shut down completely over the summer months, Nippers@Northwood welcomes double its number during the summer. Many of the younger siblings are joined by their older ones at the Friday morning experience that includes Rabbi Aaron Goldstein, Senior Rabbi of the host community. Northwood & Pinner Liberal Synagogue give a music workshop before all the 'nipper's welcome in Shabbat with kiddush.

Nippers@Northwood is a hit amongst the families who populate Moriah Jewish Day School in Pinner and therefore the participants cross the Jewish denominations. Rabbi Aaron said: "When my sister and I were growing-up, we became used to our parents (Rabbi Dr Andrew and Sharon Goldstein) talking about 'their kids,' not meaning us. I now know what they mean. Seeing the children developing and being a part of that feels so good. This summer I am officiating at a chuppah for a young woman who I taught in Cheder.
