CLOSURE OF MAZAL TOV--- PROGRESSIVE JEWISH MARRIAGES

Since its inception in 1995, “Mazal Tov” has been proud to be responsible for many successful marriages, both within our own Movement and beyond.

Sponsored by Liberal Judaism and run by a Management Group with a team of interviewers, all of whom are volunteers, it has provided a confidential and personal service to those looking for a Jewish partner in life.

But, currently due both to the Internet and to the abundance of advertisements in the media, the opportunities to search for a partner have diversified enormously.  As a result, the client base of Mazal Tov has become much reduced in size and we are no longer able to offer the wide choice previously available. Regretfully therefore, we have decided to close the organisation. Any brochures still held by synagogues should therefore be removed.

We are extremely grateful to Liberal Judaism for its support and to the Liberal Jewish Synagogue for its provision of office space since the beginning.
