LJY Netzer run a huge range of exciting events throughout the year, including Machaneh Kadimah, our flagship two week summer camp, Machaneh Aviv, our six day spring camp, and our summer tour to Israel and Eastern Europe. Information on all events, as well as our gap year program in Israel, can be found on our website. Below is some information about some of our events coming up soon! Kinus (school years 7-10) Kinus is different from other events we run each year. It’s our decision-making event for Nechalim and Yamim. That means that you get to have your say about how LJY-Netzer works—and change the things that you think need changing. No need to complain any more about stuff—now you can actually make a difference. Veidah (school years 11 upwards) 19-22 December 2011 Veidah is LJY-Netzer’s decision-making event. Ultimate power for deciding what the movement believes and how it acts belongs to Veidah. Through democratic discussion and deliberation, we all collectively decide how our movement is run. If you care about LJY-Netzer, and want it to keep growing and improving, come to Veidah. Machaneh Aviv (school years 3-10) 31 March- 5 April 2012 LJY-Netzer’s amazing spring camp! Six days of non-stop fun as part of a warm, inclusive community of other Liberal Jews your age in the beautiful surroundings of A full programme of creative activities is planned by members of LJY-Netzer who have been through our hadracha training course. Also on the tsevet are the LJY-Netzer movement workers, full-time professionals who collectively have decades of youth work experience, as well as a medic. |
