What ljstudents can do for you
ljstudents is a new student group that represents Jewish students on campus. It is a new space, a new social group, a new network, an organisation that links other organisations, a religious group, a talkative group, a thinking group, a doing group, a stand-up to be counted group, a stand up and act group, a watching group (films, plays, gigs etc.), a political group, an understanding group, and ultimately an outstanding group.
Sometimes one can feel isolated at university, some feel unheard. We welcome all and encourage talking, listening, thinking and enjoying uni life to the full.
We work with individual JSocs and synagogues wherever possible and wish to create a strong Jewish student community by providing for the needs of all.
ljstudents is exciting and evolving- an ever-changing organisation that you can become a part of and help contribute to its growth. |
