Pesach Resources - All

A selection of Pesach resources is now available on the Liberal Judaism website, including audio recordings, by clicking here.  Please email Alexandra if you have other resources that might be useful for Pesach.  Please also remember people who may not have somewhere to go this Pesach by inviting them to your seder or encouraging them to join in your Community Seder.

PR Workshop - PR Officers, Bulletin Editors and Chairs

Please nominate someone from your community (ideally your PR Officer) to attend the PR Workshop at the Montagu Centre on 27th April, 11.30am - 4.30pm: Featuring special guest Rachel Fletcher (Jewish Chronicle), who will be appearing in a personal capacity to offer advice from a journalist's perspective.  This workshop will provide the opportunity to hone your PR skills so that you can promote your Liberal Jewish community to the best possible effect. The day will feature a series of useful sessions, as well as presenting the invaluable chance to network with your colleagues from around the country.  Sessions include, "How to write a press release" and "What is news?". Click here for invitation or email a.mankowitz@liberaljudaism.org.

One of the highlights of the Biennial Weekend was the Celebrating Success presentation, developed by Mike Beral using contributions from Liberal Jewish communities around the country.  As one delegate commented, this brilliant presentation "created a feeling of confidence and togetherness that no podium speech ever could."  If you missed the presentation, you can view it on youtube by clicking here.

Wiener Library visit June 3 - All

Because the last visit was booked out, and because it was so successful, we are arranging another opportunity to visit the Wiener library. We will meet at the Montagu centre at 10.30am for coffee and then walk over to the Wiener Library. We will have an introductory talk followed by a walk through the collections. These provide a fascinating glimpse of the huge range of materials collected with reference to the Holocaust.   If you would like to come please contact Lina Fajerman on 020 8504 3125 or email on lina.fajerman@ntlworld.com.ss
