Rabbi Sandra Kviat

Rabbi Sandra Kviat was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark, in the Orthodox community and at the age of 20 became a member of the budding Progressive community, where she ran the cheder for a year while also studying History of Religions at the University of Copenhagen. She then commenced studies in sociology at Sussex University. She has a BA in History of Religion and also a BA in Sociology. Sandra is a recent graduate of Leo Baeck College. She served Lincolnshire Jewish Community in her 4th year and Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue and Liberal Judaism in the 5th year. She also continues to work with the progressive Jewish community Shir Hatzafon in Copenhagen, as well as the other progressive communities in Scandinavia when needed.
