LJS to host special charity music evening in March

2 March 2018

The Liberal Jewish Synagogue (LJS) will be hosting ‘An Evening of Song and Opera’ on Thursday 22 March to raise funds for two great causes.

Royal Academy of Music students will present a varied programme ranging from the much loved songs of Schubert and Schumann to the operas of Mozart and Donizetti.

Tickets cost £15 for adults, £10 concessions and £5 for students and all those under 25. Tickets will be available on the door, but it is recommended to book in advance by clicking here.

All proceeds will go toward the LJS Community Care programme – which provides care, support and social opportunities – and the charity Spread a Smile, which aims to brighten the days of seriously ill children and teenagers in hospital by taking teams of entertainers into their wards.

The event is being organised by LJS member and Royal Academy Music student Max Loble. For more information, please contact Max on LJSstudentconcert@aol.com.
